TANNING :

Sun tanning or simply tanning is the process whereby skin colour is darkened or tanned. It is most often a result of exposure to ultraviolent (UV) radiation from sunlight or from artificial sources. During summers, sun rays between 10 a.m-4 p.m is full of U V rays. These harmful rays effects melanocytes that produces melanin in skin.

Melanin are the factors that decides the texture and colour of skin. Due to UV rays these melanin are affected and hence our skin gets discoloured and tanned. Over-tanned skin results in hyper-pigmentation hence dark and damaged skin texture.

Here are some useful tips that will help you to make the flaming summer a very beautiful and warm summers. Let’s move on :-

  • Avoid Afternoon : If you want to be safe from tanning and other skin problems then avoid afternoon sun; as much as possible.
  • Cover Your Body : While going out cover your face, hands, etc with light coloured cloths. Use full-sleeve cotton clothes. In cotton cloths, skin perspiration is very easy and the sweat evaporates making your body cool.

  • Avoid 10 am to 4 pm : Don’t go out in sun from 10 am to 4 pm. It’s the best way to prevent your body against sun.

  • Apply Sunscreen : Before going out in sun; Always apply sunscreen 20 minutes prior to allow time for the product to absorb into the skin; re-apply every few hours or as needed.
