Skin Types
There are four types of skin –
- Dry skin
- Oily skin
- Normal Skin
- Combination Skin

Dry Skin-
Dry skin is either lack in sebum or moisture or both. Dry skin is often described as dehydrated.
- Appears dull and dry
- Pores size are small and sometimes not visible.
- Feels rough in texture.
- It is normally thin and looks dull.
- Premature ageing is commmon, resulting the appearance of wrinkles.
- Doesn’t produce enough oil.
- T-zone and c-zone both are dry.
- Collagen and elastin are less.
Oily Skin-
In oily skin sebacious gland become very active. An increase in oil(sebum) production often causes the appearance of skin blemishes.
- The pores are enlarge.
- The skin is prone to shines.
- Disorder like blackheads(comadons), pustules, whiteheads(millia) acne appears.
- Skin feels thicker than dry or normal skin.
- T-zone or C-zone both are oily.
Normal Skin-
Normal skin is often reffered as balanced because it is neither too oily nor too dry.
- The pores size is normal.
- Sebum production and moisture content is balanced.
- Can fluctuate and sometime will be little more oily or dry.
- T-zone and C-zone both are balanced.
- The skin feels smooth.
Combination Skin-
Combinaion skin is partialy dry and partialy oily. Generally the chin, nose and forehead(T-zone) are oily and rest of the skin (C-zone) is dry. IT is the most common skin type.
- Appears shiny and dull.
- Outer area can be dry and flaky.
- Pores size changes from large to medium.
